Mercedes-Benz not acquired by Geely, Geely Holding Group invested in Daimler and became its largest shareholder
Mercedes-Benz has not been acquired by Geely. Geely Holding Group has, however, invested in Daimler AG and holds 9.69% of Daimler's voting shares, making it Daimler's largest shareholder. Geely has committed to holding its equity for the long term, but it does not own Mercedes-Benz. Here is an introduction to Geely:
